As your personal consultant, I will guide you through the hair loss process that you will be experiencing. It is recommended that I see you prior to your first chemotherapy treatment, so that I may educate you on the differences of wigs,
at that time you may decide on a synthetic or a human
hair wig. This will allow time for any customizing such as coloring or highlighting
to be completed prior to your appointment for the final finishing and fitting that is scheduled around the time your hair
will begin releasing due to the chemo.
I wish to transition you as easily as possible
through your hair loss into your beautiful new hair. In addition to providing you with your new wig,
Chrysalis is also here to help you with any maintenance needs. So often a woman will have a wig and go to a local beauty shop to have it
trimmed and be told that the stylist won't cut a wig... or
they don't know how to care for synthetic wigs. |

medically induced hair loss resulting from chemotherapy treatment.
Along with your prescription for a cranial prosthesis from your oncologist, Chrysalis will file your insurance for your prosthesis. |
